Communication, Part 2: Organizational Communication (1 credit hours)

This module focuses on communication problems. Various barriers to effective communication are addressed. Causes of and strategies to manage communication-based conflict in the workplace are outlined. The module concludes with a section that describes the importance of effective public speaking and offers tips to help make public presentations more effective.

Susan Cannon holds a Masters of Science degree in Education from University of Dayton. She has been a Registered Radiologic Technologist since 1967. Since that time she has been employed by Good Samaritan Hospital; J.B. Paley, M.D., orthopedic surgeon; and R.L. Whitmer, internal medicine. Currently she is employed at Sinclair Community College (Dayton, OH) as an instructor in the Radiologic Technology Department.
